Recently gide got this lcd pad from his neighbor friend's birthday goodie bag (thank you khalif and tante putri!!).. we started to use this pad to have math quiz where we give each other math problems to be solved.. p.s. if you are a parent yourself you know that how we need to be creative in engaging our kids to learn..
gide is very happy when he could answer the problem that i gave him.. of course i started with easy one like 1+1 or 2+2 and so on.. he would be puzzled if i give him tough questions (according to him anyway) like 1 million + 1 million or 2 million + 2 million 😂🤣😂🤣 oh dear gide if only you know solving these questions are as simple as like solving 1 apple + 1 apple or 2 apple + 2 apple..
another thing which makes him very happy is when he thinks that he could give me very hard question (again, this is according to him).. he would smile wildly expecting i would not be able to give solution to the problem and end up dissapointed that i could solve the problem in less than 10 seconds 😄😄😄 one of the examples of his "hard" questions is 2+1+100+25..
when i ponder about this i got reminded that a lot of times we throw "hard" life questions to God and think that this is equally hard for Him to answer them.. maybe when God receive the questions He will smile and give us the face that is telling "I got this son/daughter, nothing is too hard for me".. it is not like He could not answer the question but He want to answer the question with our best interest in mind even if it means it does not meet our expectation..
i guess in the end we can have questions, which is perfectly normal, but we should not question God's goodness, faithfulness and intention in our lives..
“I am the Lord , the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?"
Jeremiah 32:27 NLT
